About ARDMLAWho We AreThe Association pour la Recherche sur la Dégénérescence Maculaire liée à l’Âge (ARDMLA) has a two-fold mission: to fund scientific research programs and to educate the public about macular degeneration. Funding Scientific Research ProgramsARDMLA will fund several research programs each year. Our goal is to reward projects that will lead to major discoveries concerning the mechanism, the treatment or the cure of Age-related macular degeneration. Educating the PublicARDMLA also works to raise public awareness for Macular degeneration. We provide various educational materials and resources regarding prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Our goal is to promote awareness and increase understanding of this disease. How We Are OrganizedARDMLA is a non-profit organization regulated by the law of July 1, 1901, declared at police headquarters in Paris on March 23, 2005 and published in the Journal Officiel August 20, 2005.
